An increase in the number of investors in the stock market has been on the rise. As of June 30, a total of 41 lakh investors has opened Demat Accounts and got into the stock market.

With this, the total number of investors in the country has increased to Rs 3.65 crore. According to the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), this is the highest number of demat accounts in a single year.
