
Kochi: Investors are delighted by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) decision to give Rs 1.76 lakh crore from its reserves to the central government. The Sensex, which had closed at 37494.12 on Monday, started trading at 37,658.48 on Tuesday. The Sensex had gained 147.15 points in 37,641.27.
Similarly, the wide based National Stock Exchange's Nifty index rose by 47.50 points at 11,105.40. Most of the companies have seen significant gains. Bank Nifty is the biggest gainer. According to Binu Joseph, Vice President of Choice Broking, Nifty will face a resistance of 11,176 in Wednesday's trade.
