
Delhi: Investors lost Rs 5.86 lakh crore in just five days. The BSE Sensex fell 135 points to close at 37,847. Experts attribute this to a large inflow of foreign funds and a fall in corporate income. The BSE Sensex fell by 1367.99 points in the last five sessions.
The Sensex closed at 37,847.65, down 135.09 points on Wednesday. With the market weakening, the market value fell by Rs 5,86,008.88 crore to Rs 1,43,27,797.54 crore. The decline in global indices and the slowdown in the market sentiment led the index to fall.
