Delhi: State Level Bankers' Committee (SLBC) Experts suggest that there is a need of six-hour break between the two ATM transactions due to increase in ATM fraud cases. According to authorities, the most frequent cases of fraud are at night. The number of cases increased between midnight and early morning, report say.
Mukesh Jain, Oriental Bank of Commerce CEO and SLBC Convenor, said that if there is a need of time gap between transactions, then only frauds could be prevented. Representatives of 18 banks met to discuss the issue. If it decides to implement transactions, it will be difficult for public at night time.
